Meals at Birtley House are cooked by 'Harrison Catering' our in house catering team who are managed by creative menu planner and Chef Simon Wheatley. Simon ensures that the weekly menu makes the best use of fresh, seasonal produce - much of which is hand picked from the Birtley Estate. Wherever possible, nothing goes to waste and Simon makes a lovely Jam and Chutney collection with any surplus produce.
Our residents, like the rest of the population, have varying likes and dislikes and our menus take these into account. It goes without saying that food allergies and intolerances are catererd for. View a sample menu
