We do our best to help everyone who lives here feel that they have simply moved home rather left home and people often comment that the warm, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at Birtley House is very different from other homes they have visited.
Within Birtley House there are attractive nursing home rooms and also West Wing apartments, with different payment methods for each. The quality of care given to all residents remains at the same high level in both types of accommodation.
