Do you take Dementia patients?

We are often asked this particular question. We only take residents with dementia if their physical needs outweigh their mental needs. Birtley House is not designed to take residents who may be violent or may wander. However, if the resident is merely a bit forgetful then Birtley House can probably help, subject to an assessment by our Matron or a member of her team.
